Welcome!
The Czech Republic, formerly known as Czechoslovakia, is a Central-European country that is located east of Austria and northwest of Slovakia. It is divided into two regions: Bohemia in the northwest, and Moravia in the southeast.
Bohemia, the larger of the two, covering a little more than half of the Czech Republic's area, is the region in which the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, is located. Bohemia is well-known for its arts, and especially for its gypsies.
